"Worship is action, Worship is joyful, Worship isn't about the people, Worship isn't even about the music, Worship is about giving God the honor and glory that he deserves."
Field trips are a way of enhancing classroom learning by making real world connections. The field trip is a great opportunity to inculcate the value to respect each tradition and culture. Pre- Primary Vijayans had a field trip to Sai Baba temple, Valsad. See the excitement of these Vijayans enjoying and having a great time with friends and teachers and making it a remarkable experience.
Field trips are a fun and engaging way of learning things.
On the morning of 30th January, our little Vijayan’s of Std 1 and 2 went on a field trip to Pardi police station and Mohandayal hospital.
At the Pardi police station, they learned about discipline and how policemen keep our city safe. The police officer also gave them a valuable lesson on how to be a responsible citizen and keep your city safe. They were also provided with knowledge of different service guns. How and when they were used. They were given hands-on experience by letting them touch and feel the weapons. (Safety measures were taken.) During their departure, they were given eatables.
At the hospital, they were made aware of the ambulance as an emergency vehicle. How nurses and doctors help their patients live a healthy life.
It was a great learning experience for the children. They enjoyed their field trip with great enthusiasm.
Here are a few glimpses of the field trip.
Going on a field trip enhances student's critical thinking skills and gives them a chance to think about a topic or theme from a different perspective. A field trip was organised for students of standard 3 and 4 at Kamdhenu Organic Farm, Dharampur where the children enjoyed the nature walk and also listened to the chirping sounds of different birds. The owner of the factory, Mr. Shah welcomed us whole heartedly and explained the importance of organic farming. Children were then taken to the factory unit, where they viewed how the fruits were dried with the help of solar energy and then packed into small packages. Children returned back to school with happy faces as they were given dried fruit chunks in small containers as take away. Here are some glimpses of the same.
